Welcome to my blog, My name is Sam Dodd and I sell Real Estate for Prudential Cedar City Realty. I specialize in the Cedar City market but I have access to all of St. George, Parowan, Brian Head and all surrounding areas. Cedar City is a thriving community of about 25,000 people. We are currently growing at about 5% a year. Many people are retiring from Southern California and the Las Vegas area and moving to Cedar City where the prices are more reasonable. Currently the median price for homes is around $200,ooo.o0 dollars. The cost of living in Cedar City is 11% lower then the national average. Cedar City's Real Estate market is extremely hot currently. Many investors are moving there money from Las Vegas, St. George, and Mesquite and starting to build homes here in Cedar where land is still reasonably priced. Currently new construction on homes costs anywhere from 90 to 150 dollars a square foot depending on upgrades and quality of materials used.
